Personally I don’t think my experience with Karen could have gone any better…I was told I should see better results rather quickly…that’s an understatement…I’m actually excited watching her progress play out immediately…thanks Karen..now back to Weezy’s lesson
Karen was a great help with Lily! We were amazed at how much Lily has learned during her first visit. We are continuing to do our homework daily and we look forward to our next visit! We always wanted to learn another language but we never dreamed it would be dog! 🐶
I needed in-home training so that I could be trained to get my dog into a crate when I’m away from home. My trainer Karen got me working on some preliminary tasks, but within the allotted timeframe, my dog was going into his crate! This was a huge load off my mind. I also learned the benefit of a good growl and appropriate praise. It’s best to have the dog learn house manners in your own home.
I would like to tell you how much I enjoyed meeting Karen, Angel’s trainer. She was very professional and ready to solve Angel’s issues. I was amazed at Karen’s ability to connect with Angel and how quickly Angel responded. I desperately need Bark Busters help and have a positive attitude about Karen to be able to answer all of my questions to insure a special relationship between me and Angel.
This was the best training experience I could have asked for. I learned so much and saw immediate changes in my dogs. I’m so excited to continue to see changes and help my dogs get to their full potential!

I was nervous because Simon is such a high anxiety dog and knew he would bark and growl for a bit- it subsided quickly and after our session he had stopped barking and sat next to both of us on the couch. Karen came and instantly started treating the dog like family, she was very helpful and had very simple but effective way of training with Alexa, she really helped deal with all the issues that our dog was having and now she is a lot more behaved than she was. It was a very good experience and I would recommend to anyone who wants help with their dog.
She was an amazing trainer! She was extremely patient with my pup and was able to communicate very simply and clearly what we needed to do and how to do it. When we were done I felt that I had learned a ton about how to be a better teacher to my dog in a way that was productive for both her and myself! I would absolutely recommend Karen to anyone that wants to make sure that their dog is well behaved from a trainer that genuinely loves the pups she works with!
Karen was great with my big girl, Alexa. She quickly had Alexa under her spell, and reminded me that I needed to be in charge. I highly and enthusiastically recommend Bark Busters to all!
Karen is absolutely amazing and so personable. Cedar is almost 4 months old and was chewing on hands and her leash, barking, and just generally thinking she was in charge. Karen walked in and within 5 minutes, she had Cedar calmly sitting beside her. I learned more in 15 minutes with Karen than I did in the months I spent researching on how to train a puppy and prevent/correct bad habits. I can’t recommend Karen enough and I am looking forward to the next training session with her.
Karen explained that we needed to learn to speak dog. She showed us how to connect with our pups in a positive way they would understand & how to continue teaching our pups ?. We have continued to see great results that continue to amaze me. I look forward to our next session with Karen.

Karen was awesome. The dog barks at every little sound, the TV, fence, mirrors, anything she can see her reflection in etc. Brandy is also very fearful. Our first lesson and I think we made some great progress. Now for the consistency part over the next month implementing “How to speak Dog” I feel like there is hope for our dog!
What can I say about Karen. I feel like she not only helped our dog, she also helped me. I never had a dog before when my sister got her puppy. I instantly fell in love with him. He was a handful though. He was terrified of the leash and the collar. He would go nuts if we put either on him. For some reason I felt like I could change that, so I asked Karen if she could show me a few techniques. I worked with him everyday. Within a week I had the collar on him, then the leash. He was even walking on the leash. The transformation was amazing. I don’t believe that ever would have happened without Karen’s guidance. She was so patient with us and him. She gave us the tools and confidence to build a relationship of love and trust with our new baby. Do yourself and your dog a favor and call Karen. You will not regret it.
My dog was barking on and on and on. I called Bark Busters and Karen came out and helped me learn how to Speak Dog. I was amazed at Flippy's response.
Best decision I have made. Both of my dogs have situational/separation anxiety. They are always on alert and never seem to be able to relax. My vet recommended Barkbusters and I couldn't be happier. Karen came out and gave me tools to help my dogs calm down and rules to teach them to help with their anxiety. Just after three hours of Karen being at my house there was a recognizable difference in their demeanor. I will definitely be recommending Barkbusters to others.
Karen was amazing. I felt I had a team to help me help my adopted mix to learn how to be a good citizen. Karen taught me to watch his body and celebrate the changes from tension to curiosity. She was there anytime I needed her. Beau loved her. Wonderful!
I would like to say "thank you" to Karen Montalvo. Words could never express how much she has helped Brady and I. Brady is a one-yr-old chocolate Lab that my oldest son (who is in the military) asked me to keep for him. Poor Brady was full of so much anxiety when he came to me. He still has an issue with fear and his crate, but he has made amazing strides in just two weeks, thanks to Karen. Karen is such an amazing person and has the ability to just watch Brady and pick up on his needs immediately. I so appreciate the amount of time Karen has spent with Brady and I helping us get through this anxiety issue. Brady was showing signs of improvement during our first session with Karen. Thanks again, Karen...ur the best!!
